This methodology creates a mindset where people are driven by ongoing development of themselves and others, continuous improvement toward achieving goals, and working with others to advance the greater good of their organizations.
High Impact Leaders are genuine and authentic people who have an urge to question the status quo and empower others in a quest for realizing the greatest possible outcome in any given situation. They have a bias towards action and in the absence of leadership, they step up to get the job done.

Why Straight Arrow?
The straight arrow represents two things:

Both are part of our approach to achieving results.
After a career of starting, running, advising, and turning around companies, our founder Chris Pienkowski chose to focus on his passion for leadership and developing people by coaching CEOs and senior level executives at companies across the US and Canada. However, he recognized a large underserved group where he knew he could really make a difference.
​
As a patriotic American and supporter of growing businesses, Chris realized that small and mid-sized companies often suffer from a breakdown in company-wide leadership, and that creates a roadblock to reaching their full potential.
The owners and operators of these businesses are so busy working in their companies, they overlook the importance of applying proven leadership frameworks and combining leadership development with the career paths of their high potential employees. These people often rise through the ranks of organizations by demonstrating subject matter expertise, and developing the ability to effectively manage the tactical processes that make up their jobs. Some of these people have inherent leadership abilities and some do not, but they are all susceptible to the challenges of leading at a higher level. Unfortunately, 46% of these transitions fail due to a lack of leadership training and structure.

Seeing these scenarios over and over, Straight Arrow Coaching was born with the idea that leadership development and coaching should not be exclusive to the most senior executives in large companies. Instead, these services and principles should be available to the small and mid-sized companies that make up the backbone of the American economy. By creating a solid foundation of the Five Principles of High Impact Leadership growing companies are investing in their long term future and removing the roadblocks that hold them back from reaching their true potential.

Chris is a graduate of the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. Outside of his passion for leadership, he is a classic car enthusiast, lover of the outdoors, practitioner of Jiu Jitsu and volunteer. He lives with his wife, sons and dogs in the suburbs of Philadelphia.
